AN ACT TO AMEND ARTICLE 3 OF THE CONSTITUTION IN CERTAIN RESPECTS. |

BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS OF SAORSTÁT EIREANN AS FOLLOWS:— |
||
Amendment of Article 3 of the Constitution. |
1.—Article 3 of the Constitution is hereby amended in the following respects and shall be construed and have effect accordingly, that is to say:— |

( a ) by the deletion from the said Article of the words 4 "within the limits of the jurisdiction of the Irish Free State (Saorstát Eireann)", and |
||
( b ) by the deletion from the proviso to the said Article of the word "in" and the substitution for the word so deleted of the word "of." |
||
Short title. |
2.—This Act may be cited as the Constitution (Amendment No. 26) Act, 1935 . |
