BY-LAW No. 390 SHEEPHAVEN

BY-LAW No. 390 SHEEPHAVEN

DRAFT, OR SEINE, OR RING NETS FOR THE CAPTURE OF HERRINGS

I, FIONÁN O LOÍNGSIGH, Minister for Lands and Fisheries, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in me by the Fisheries Act, 1925 , and of every other power enabling me in this behalf, do MAKE AND ORDAIN THE FOLLOWING BY-LAW :—

(1) The By-Law dated 19th day of July, 1898, by which it is prohibited to use between sunrise and sunset any Draft or Seine Net, or any Net commonly called and known as a " Ring " Net, for the capture of Herrings in Sheephaven, inside or to the south of a line from Horn Head to Rinnafagla Point, is hereby repealed.

(2) The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923) applies to the interpretation of this By-Law in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.

(3) This By-Law may be cited for all purposes as the Sheephaven By-Law, No. 390, 1928.

(4) This By-Law shall come into operation on the twentieth day of October, 1928.
