THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT (TEMPORARY PROVISIONS) ACTS, 1923 AND 1924.

CLARE COUNTY SCHEME.

To the Council of the Administrative County of Clare; to the Clare Board of Health and Public Assistance; and to all others whom it may concern:

WHEREAS by an Order under his Seal of Office bearing date the Twenty-eighth day of June, 1923, called the Clare County Scheme Order, 1923, the Minister for Local Government in pursuance of Section 5 of the Local Government (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1923 (hereinafter referred to as "the Act"), did amend and modify the existing County Scheme relating to the County of Clare as set out in the First Schedule to the Act, in such a way as to bring it into conformity with the provisions of the Scheme set out in the Schedule to the said Order (which said provisions are in the said Order and this Order referred to as the Clare County Scheme):

AND WHEREAS the Clare County Scheme has come into operation and the Minister for Local Government and Public Health deems it necessary to amend the same in manner hereinafter appearing, and did on the Fifth day of February, 1932, give to the Council of the Administrative County of Clare, one month's notice of his intention to make such amendment and has taken into consideration any representation which has been made to him by the said Council within such month in respect of such amendment:

NOW THEREFORE, the Minister for Local Government and Public Health, in exercise of the powers vested in him by Section 5 of the Act, and of all other powers in this behalf enabling him, the said month having expired, does by this his Order, order and direct as follows, that is to say:—

1. The Clare County Scheme shall be amended as follows:—

(1) On and after such date, not being later than the 30th day of June, 1932, as may be prescribed by the Minister for Local Government and Public Health, the Auxiliary Home at Kilrush authorised to be provided and maintained by the Clare Board of Health and Public Assistance by paragraph (f) of Article 15 of the Clare County Scheme shall be abolished and the said paragraph shall as from such date cease to have effect.

(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in Article 15 of the Clare County Scheme, infant children and unmarried mothers may be received and maintained by the Clare Board of Health and Public Assistance in the County Home at Ennis temporarily until provision shall be made for their reception and maintenance elsewhere than in the County Home.

2. This Order may be cited as the Clare County Scheme (Amendment) Order, 1932.
