BREAD (PRICE) (No. 1) ORDER, 1936 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1936. | ||
THE BREAD (PRICE) (No. 1) ORDER, 1936 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1936, MADE BY THE MINISTER FOR INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE ON THE 18th DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1936, PURSUANT TO SECTION 3 of THE BREAD (REGULATION OF PRICES) ACT, 1936 . | ||
WHEREAS the bread price order entitled the Bread (Price) (No. 1) Order, 1936, has been made pursuant to the provisions of Section 3 of the Bread (Regulation of Prices) Act, 1936 : | ||
AND WHEREAS it is enacted by paragraph (f) of sub-section (2) of Section 3 of the said Act that the Minister for Industry and Commerce may by order under that paragraph revoke or amend a bread (price) order and that the provisions of paragraphs (d) and (e) of that sub-section shall apply to every such order : | ||
NOW THEREFORE the Minister for Industry and Commerce in exercise of the powers conferred on him by paragraph (f) of sub-section (2) of Section 3 of the Bread (Regulation of Prices) Act, 1936 , and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling hereby orders as follows, that is to say :— | ||
1. This Order may be cited for all purposes as the Bread (Price) (No. 1) Order, 1936 (Amendment) Order, 1936. | ||
2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of this order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas. | ||
3. Sub-clause (e) of Clause 4 of the Bread (Price) (No. 1) Order, 1936, shall be and it is hereby amended as follows, that is to say, by the deletion of the words " less one penny and less ten per cent. on the sum remaining after the deduction of the said penny from the said price " now contained therein, and by the substitution for the words so deleted of the words " less ten per cent." and the said Bread (Price) (No. 1) Order, 1936, shall be construed and have effect accordingly. | ||
4. This Order shall come into force on the 24th day of November, 1936. | ||
