TRADE BOARDS (TAILORING) ORDER, 1926 (VARIATION) ORDER, 1944.

TRADE BOARDS (TAILORING) ORDER, 1926 (VARIATION) ORDER, 1944.

The Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (1) of section 2 of the Trade Boards Act, 1918, as adapted by or under subsequent enactments, and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, hereby makes the following special order :

Short title and commencement.

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Trade Boards (Tailoring) Order, 1926 (Variation) Order, 1944.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 26th day of September, 1944.

Variation of Trade Boards (Tailoring) Order, 1926.

2. The Trade Boards (Tailoring) Order, 1926 ( S. R. & O. No. 9 of 1926 ), is hereby varied by the addition to the exclusions specified in the Appendix of the following exclusion :

" 7. The making of head-gear which—

(a) is for men or male children, and

(b) is made from materials which, at any stage in the making of the head-gear, are felted in the premises in which the head-gear is made."
