SAVINGS CERTIFICATES (MAXIMUM HOLDING) RULES, 1947. | ||
The Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (2) of section 30 of the Finance Act, 1940 (No. 14 of 1940), hereby makes the following rules :— | ||
1. These Rules may be cited as the Savings Certificates (Maximum Holding) Rules, 1947. | ||
2. The maximum holding of savings certificates is hereby increased from three hundred and fifty unit certificates to six hundred and twenty-five unit certificates and the Savings Certificates Rules, 1926, as amended by subsection (1) of section 30 of the Finance Act, 1940 (No. 14 of 1940), shall have effect accordingly. | ||
