AIR NAVIGATION AND TRANSPORT (COMPULSORY ACQUISITION OF LAND) (No. 1) ORDER, 1947. | ||
Compulsory Acquisition of Land (No. 1) Order, 1947, made by the Minister for Industry and Commerce on the 23rd day of December, 1947, pursuant to sub-section (1) of section 41 of The Air Navigation and Transport Act, 1936 . | ||
WHEREAS it is enacted by sub-section (1) of section 41 of The Air Navigation and Transport Act, 1936 , that if and whenever the Minister (therein defined as the Minister for Industry and Commerce) thinks proper to acquire compulsorily any land he may with the consent of the Minister for Finance by Order declare his intention so to acquire such land, and every such Order shall operate to confer on the Minister full power to acquire compulsorily the land. | ||
AND WHEREAS by sub-section (3) of said section it is enacted that before making an Order thereunder the Minister shall deposit and keep open for inspection at some suitable place (Public Notice of which shall be given) such plans, specifications and other documents as will show fully and clearly the land intended to be acquired; and shall give notice in such manner as he may consider best adapted for informing persons likely to be affected by the Order of his intention to consider the making thereof, and of the manner in which representations and objections in respect of the Order may be made. | ||
AND WHEREAS Plans and Specifications were duly deposited and kept open for inspection as provided by the said sub-section, and notice was duly published in a newspaper circulating in the district and further was duly given to the persons appearing to the Minister to be affected by the Order. | ||
(1) NOW THEREFORE the Minister with the consent of the Minister for Finance and in pursuance of the powers conferred on him by the Air Navigation and Transport Act, 1936 , and of every other power him thereunto enabling Hereby Declare his intention to acquire compulsorily the lands particulars of which are set forth in the Schedule hereto. | ||
(2) In further pursuance of the powers aforesaid the Minister hereby orders that The Acquisition of Land (Assessment of Compensation) Act, 1919, and the Land Clauses Consolidation Act, 1845, so far as same is not inconsistent with the said Acquisition of Land (Assessment of Compensation) Act, 1919, shall apply to the price or compensation payable by the Minister and to the conveyance to the Minister. | ||
(3) This Order may be cited as The Air Navigation and Transport (Compulsory Acquisition of Land) (No. 1) Order, 1947. | ||
GIVEN under the Seals of Office of the Minister for Industry and Commerce and the Minister for Finance this 23rd day of December, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Forty-seven. | ||

ALL THOSE parts of the Lands of Cloghran, Corballis, Commons, Forrest Little and Rock containing 284 acres 0 roods 14 perches or thereabouts statute measure situate in the Baronies of Coolock and Nethercross and County of Dublin which said lands are more particularly delineated on the map annexed hereunto and thereon coloured red, pink, green, blue, brown, yellow, ultramarine, mauve and orange. | ||
