CONTROL OF IMPORTS (QUOTA No. 13) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1948.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Control of Imports Acts, 1934 and 1937, and of every and any other power them in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows :--

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Control of Imports (Quota No. 13) (Amendment) Order, 1948.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of April, 1948.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. Part I of the Schedule to the Control of Imports (Quota No. 13) Order, 1935 ( S. R. & O. No. 59 of 1935 ), is hereby amended by the substitution of the words " four shillings " for the words "three shillings " (being the words inserted therein by the Control of Imports (Quota No. 13) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order, 1940 ( S. R. & O. No. 317 of 1940 )).
