I, DANIEL MORRISSEY, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (1) of section 178 of the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946), hereby, with the consent of the Minister for Local Government, make the following order :-- |
||
1.--(1) This Order may be cited as the Harbours Act, 1946 (Section 178 (1) ) (Pier Roadway) Order, 1948. |
||
(2) This Order shall come into operation on the first day of January, 1949. |
||
2. The Kinsale Harbour Commissioners shall, on the coming into operation of this Order, cease to maintain the road mentioned in the Schedule hereto and the council of the county of Cork shall thereupon maintain the said road. |
||
SCHEDULE. |
||
The road, known as Pier Roadway, Kinsale, extending from its junction with Emmett Place to its junction with Lower O'Connell Street for a distance of 680 yards or thereabouts and being in breadth 31 feet or thereabouts. |
||
