DISTRICT COURT (NEW AREAS) ORDER, 1927. (VARIATION NO. 143) ORDER, 1951.

DISTRICT COURT (NEW AREAS) ORDER, 1927. (VARIATION NO. 143) ORDER, 1951.

The Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (3) of section 47 of the Court Officers Act, 1926 (No. 27 of 1926), and of section 11 of the Court Officers Act, 1945 (No. 25 of 1945), and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, hereby orders as follows :--

1.--(1) This Order may be cited as the District Court (New Areas) Order, 1927 (Variation No. 143) Order, 1951.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of June, 1951.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937) applies to this Order.

3.--(1) For the purpose of cases of summary jurisdiction, there is hereby created in District No. 4 a new district court area, to be known as the district court area of Ballyfarnon, which shall consist of the district electoral divisions specified in the Schedule hereto.

(2) For the purpose of cases of summary jurisdiction, the district court area of Boyle in District No. 4 is hereby varied by the removal therefrom of the district electoral divisions specified in the Schedule hereto.

(3) The District Court for the district court area of Ballyfarnon created by this Article, shall be held at the place and times set out in the Schedule hereto.

4. Business transacted in the District Court which is initiated before the date on which this Order comes into operation and is not completed before that date shall be continued and completed at Boyle.

1st Tuesday, 11.30 a.m.

Aghafin, Altagowlan, Ballyfarnon, Ballyformoyle, Crossna, Keadew, Lough Allen, and, in County Sligo, Ballynashee, Killadoon, Kilmactranny, Shancough.
