HOME-GROWN WHEAT (PURCHASE PERCENTAGE FOR CEREAL YEAR 1951/52) ORDER, 1951.

HOME-GROWN WHEAT (PURCHASE PERCENTAGE FOR CEREAL YEAR 1951/52) ORDER, 1951.

WHEREAS it is enacted by sub-section (1) of section 10 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1935 (No. 26 of 1935), as amended by sub-section (4) of section 14 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1936 (No. 30 of 1936), that the Minister for Agriculture may before the commencement of any cereal year make an order requiring that of the home-grown wheat quotas, for all mills which are licensed mills at the commencement of such cereal year, for such cereal year a percentage fixed by such order shall be purchased and taken into store in such cereal year by holders of milling licences before the end of each month, specified in such order, in such cereal year, and such percentage may, in respect of any one month in such cereal year, be fixed at one hundred per cent. :

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JAMES M. DILLON, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sub-section (1) of section 10 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1935 (No. 26 of 1935), as amended by sub-section (4) of section 14 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1936 (No. 30 of 1936), and of every and any power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby order as follows :--

1. This Order may be cited as the Home-Grown Wheat (Purchase Percentage for Cereal Year, 1951-52) Order, 1951.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to the interpretation of this Order.

3. Of the home-grown wheat quotas, for all mills which are licensed mills at the commencement of the cereal year commencing on the 1st day of September, 1951, and ending on the 31st day of August, 1952, for such cereal year each percentage, specified in the second column of the Schedule hereto, shall be purchased and taken into store in such cereal year by holders of milling licences before the end of the month specified in the first column of the said Schedule opposite the mention of such percentage.
