CONTROL OF IMPORTS (QUOTA No. 37) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1951.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Control of Imports Acts, 1934 and 1937, and of every and any other power them in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows :--

1. This Order may be cited as the Control of Imports (Quota No. 37) (Amendment) Order, 1951.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. Paragraph 4 of the Control of Imports (Quota No. 37) Order, 1937 ( S. R. & O. No. 288 of 1937 ), is hereby amended by the deletion in sub-paragraph (a) of the words " fifteen shillings and eleven pence " now contained therein by virtue of paragraph 3 of the Control of Imports (Quota No. 37) (Amendment) Order, 1950 ( S.I. No. 173 of 1950 ), and the substitution in lieu of the words so deleted of the words " twenty-one shillings " and the said paragraph 4 shall be construed and have effect accordingly.

4. This Order shall come into operation on the 22nd day of August, 1951.
