SOCIAL WELFARE (CHILDREN'S ALLOWANCES) ACT, 1952 (SECTION 2) ORDER, 1952.

I, SÉAMAS Ó RIAIN, Minister for Social Welfare, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Social Welfare (Children's Allowances) Act, 1952 (No. 12 of 1952), hereby make the following order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Social Welfare (Children's Allowances) Act, 1952 (Section 2) Order, 1952.

2.--(1) The 1st day of October, 1952, is hereby appointed as the day on which section 3 of the Act of 1946 shall cease to have effect for persons for whom a payment period ending on the 30th day of September, 1952, is appointed.

(2) The 1st day of December, 1952, is hereby appointed as the day on which section 3 of the Act of 1946 shall cease to have effect for persons for whom a payment period ending on the 30th day of November, 1952, is appointed.

(3) The 1st day of February, 1953, is hereby appointed as the day on which section 3 of the Act of 1946 shall cease to have effect for persons for whom a payment period ending on the 31st day of January, 1953, is appointed.

(4) The 1st day of April, 1953, is hereby appointed as the day on which section 3 of the Act of 1946 shall cease to have effect for persons for whom a payment period ending on the 31st day of March, 1953, is appointed.

(5) The 1st day of July, 1952, is hereby appointed as the day on which section 3 of the Act of 1946 shall cease to have effect for all other persons.
