ARTS ACT, 1951 (ADDITIONAL FUNCTION) ORDER, 1953. |

The Government, in exercise of the power conferred on them by subsection (4) of section 3 of the Arts Act, 1951 (No. 9 of 1951), hereby order as follows : |
||
|
1. This Order may be cited as the Arts Act, 1951 (Additional Function) Order, 1953. |
||
|
2. The following additional function is hereby conferred on An Chomhairle Ealaíon, namely, to provide and maintain in the city of Dublin suitable premises to be utilised or made available by the Council for such purposes connected with the arts as in their discretion they think fit. |
||
|
3. For the purpose of giving full effect to this Order, the Council may borrow a sum or sums of money not exceeding in the aggregate seventy-five thousand pounds and may secure the repayment thereof, with interest, by mortgage of all or any of their property. |
||
