FINES AND PENALTIES (DISPOSAL) ORDER, 1954.

FINES AND PENALTIES (DISPOSAL) ORDER, 1954.

I, JAMES EVERETT, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 51 of the Court Officers Act, 1926 (No. 27 of 1926), and with the concurrence of the Minister for Finance (signified by his official seal affixed hereto), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Fines and Penalties (Disposal) Order, 1954.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. Every fine imposed in respect of an offence under the Health Acts, 1947 to 1954, which is prosecuted by a health authority or by any board or authority authorised in that behalf under section 45, section 46 or section 47 of the Health Act, 1953 , shall, in lieu of being paid into the Exchequer, be paid to that authority or board.
