COUNTY REGISTRARS (LAND COMMISSION) REGULATIONS, 1934 (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1955.

COUNTY REGISTRARS (LAND COMMISSION) REGULATIONS, 1934 (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1955.

I, JAMES EVERETT, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (3) of section 28 of the Land Act, 1933 (No. 38 of 1933), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby make the following regulations :

1.--(1) These Regulations may be cited as the County Registrars (Land Commission) Regulations 1934 (Amendment) Regulations, 1955.

(2) These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of April, 1955.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations.

3.--(1) The County Registrars (Land Commission) Regulations, 1934 ( S. R. & O. No. 16 of 1934 ), shall, save as respects the county and county borough of Dublin and the county and county borough of Cork, have effect as if, for the form of notice set forth in the Schedule thereto, there were substituted the form of notice set forth in the Schedule to these Regulations.

(2) As respects the county and county borough of Dublin and the county and county borough of Cork the County Registrars (Land Commission) Regulations, 1934, shall have effect as if these Regulations had not been made.

IMPORTANT NOTICE.

Except on the occasion of a visit by the Court Messenger when a Warrant will be in his possession, all payments are to be made to the Co. Registrar at his office. Cheques, etc., are to be made payable to the Co. Registrar, crossed and marked " not negotiable." Official receipts should be obtained for all payments.

THIS NOTICE AND THE RECEIVABLE ORDER SHOULD BE SENT WITH PAYMENT.

WHEREAS a Warrant under Section 28 of the Land Act, 1933 , has been issued to me by the Land Commission for the collection of a sum due by you to the Land Commission (which sum is indicated by an asterisk in the Amount Column of the above Schedule), I HEREBY GIVE YOU NOTICE that unless within FIFTEEN DAYS after the service of this notice you either pay to me at my office the said sum together with the fees specified above or lodge in my office a written declaration by you stating that you do not owe, or are not the person liable to pay, the said sum, I will proceed to levy by distraint under the said Warrant the total amount set out above together with such costs and fees as are by law leviable therewith.
