HOME ASSISTANCE ORDER, 1955.

The Minister for Social Welfare in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 5 and 39 of the Public Assistance Act, 1939 (No. 27 of 1939) hereby orders as follows:--

1. This Order may be cited as the Home Assistance Order, 1955.

2. In granting home assistance, a public assistance authority shall not take into consideration any maintenance allowance, payable under subsection (5) of Section 50 of the Health Act, 1953 (No. 26 of 1953) except so far as such allowance exceeds ten shillings per week.

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for Social Welfare this Sixth day of May, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Fifty-five.
