SCHOLARSHIP EXCHANGE (IRELAND AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA) ACT, 1957 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1957.

SCHOLARSHIP EXCHANGE (IRELAND AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA) ACT, 1957 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1957.

I, PROINSIAS MAC AOGÁIN, Minister for External Affairs, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 19 of the Scholarship Exchange (Ireland and the United States of America) Act, 1957 (No. 24 of 1957), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Scholarship Exchange (Ireland and the United States of America) Act, 1957 (Commencement) Order, 1957.

2. The day on which this Order is made is hereby appointed as the day on which the Scholarship Exchange (Ireland and the United States of America) Act, 1957 (No. 24 of 1957), shall come into operation.

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 23rd day of December, 1957.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings into operation on the 23rd December, 1957, the Scholarship Exchange (Ireland and the United States of America) Act, 1957 .
