FISHERIES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1953. FISHING WEIR OPERATION (No. 1) ORDER, 1954 (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1958.

I, ERSKINE H. CHILDERS, Minister for Lands, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 3 of the Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1953 (No. 16 of 1953), and the Fisheries (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1957 ( S.I. No. 67 of 1957 ), hereby, after due compliance with the requirements of subsection (2) of the said section 3, order as follows :

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Fishing Weir Operation (No. 1) Order, 1954 (Revocation) Order, 1958.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 9th day of June, 1958.

2. The Fishing Weir Operation (No. 1) Order, 1954 ( S.I. No. 55 of 1954 ) is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order revokes the Fishing Weir Operation (No. 1) Order, 1954 ( S.I. No. 55 of 1954 ), which authorised the Electricity Supply Board to operate without a free gap the fishing weir known as Cathaleen's Falls weir in the town of Ballyshannon, subject to compliance with certain conditions.
