STATE GUARANTEES ACT 1954 (AMENDMENT OF SCHEDULE) (No. 2) ORDER, 1959.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 9 of the State Guarantees Act, 1954 (No. 9 of 1954), hereby make the following order with respect to which, pursuant to that section, a draft has been laid before each House of the Oireachtas and a resolution approving of the draft has been passed by each such House :

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the State Guarantees Act, 1954 (Amendment of Schedule) (No. 2) Order, 1959.

(2) The collective citation the State Guarantees Act, 1954 (Amendment of Schedule) Orders, 1957 to 1959, shall include this Order.

2. The Schedule to the State Guarantees Act, 1954 (No. 9 of 1954), is hereby amended by deleting " £1,368,420 " (inserted by the State Guarantees Act, 1954 (Amendment of Schedule) Order, 1958 ( S.I. No. 74 of 1958 )) and substituting " £1,918,420 ".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The Order enables the Minister for Finance to guarantee additional borrowings of not more than £550,000 by St. Patrick's Copper Mines, Limited under the State Guarantees Act, 1954 .
