HARBOUR RATES (WATERFORD HARBOUR) ORDER, 1961. |

I, ERSKINE H. CHILDERS, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 104 of the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946), and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), and after due compliance with section 106 of the said Act, hereby order as follows: |

1.--(1) This Order may be cited as the Harbour Rates (Waterford Harbour) Order, 1961. |
||
(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 30th day of January, 1961. |
||
2. The maximum rate to be charged by the Waterford Harbour Commissioners in respect of a vessel (other than a fishing vessel) laid up in Waterford Harbour shall be a sum not exceeding three pence in respect of each ton of the net register tonnage of the vessel for each week or part of a week during which the vessel is laid up after the expiration of twenty-one days from the first day on which the vessel is laid up. |

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||
The effect of this Order is to empower the Waterford Harbour Commissioners to charge tonnage rates on vessels lying up in Waterford Harbour. |
