THE SHIPMENT OF LIVESTOCK (PORT OF DUBLIN) ORDER, 1959 (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1961. |

I, PATRICK SMITH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 49 of the Diseases of Animals Act, 1894, and section 4 of the Agriculture Act, 1931 , hereby order as follows :-- |
||
1. This Order may be cited as the Shipment of Livestock (Port of Dublin) Order, 1959 (Revocation) Order, 1961. |
||
2. This Order shall come into operation on the twenty-fifth day of June, 1961. |
||
3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order. |
||
4. The Shipment of Livestock (Port of Dublin) Order, 1959 (No. 221 of 1959), is hereby revoked. |
||

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||
This Order abolishes the requirement that persons presenting livestock for shipment through the Port of Dublin must be holders of a Shipping Agent's licence or an Owner Shipper's licence. |
