S.I. No. 49/1962:

ACQUISITION OF LAND (ASSESSMENT OF COMPENSATION) FEES RULES, 1962

I, SÉAMAS Ó RIAIN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (6) of section 3 of the Acquisition of Land (Assessment of Compensation) Act, 1919, hereby make the following rules:

1. These Rules may be cited as the Acquisition of Land (Assessment of Compensation) Fees Rules, 1962.

2. These Rules shall have effect as respects applications under Rule 2 of the Acquisition of Land (Assessment of Compensation) Fees Rules, 1920 (S. R. & O. No. 285 of 1920), made after the thirty-first day of March, 1962, and as respects awards of and hearings before arbitrators appointed pursuant to such applications made after such date.

3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937) applies to these Rules.

4. The Acquisition of Land (Assessment of Compensation) Fees Rules, 1920, are hereby amended by--

(a) the substitution of " £3 " for " £1 " in Rule 2,

(b) the substitution of the following Table for the Table to paragraph (1) of Rule 3 :
