HEALTH AUTHORITIES ACT, 1960 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1963.

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 30 of the Health Authorities Act, 1960 (No. 9 of 1960) (hereinafter called " the Act "), hereby orders as follows :--

1. This order may be cited as the Health Authorities Act, 1960 (Commencement) Order, 1963.

2. Section 19 of the Act shall, with respect to the Waterford Health Authority and their functional area, come into operation on the 20th day of May, 1963.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings into operation on the 20th day of May, 1963, in respect of Waterford, the provisions of Section 19 of the Health Authorities Act, 1960 , which relates to the creation of a single office of chief medical officer under the Waterford Health Authority in place of the separate offices of county medical officer and city medical officer.
