CONTROL OF IMPORTS (QUOTA NO. 13, FIFTY-FIRST PERIOD) (WOVEN WOOLLEN AND SYNTHETIC AND ARTIFICIAL FABRICS) ORDER, 1965.

CONTROL OF IMPORTS (QUOTA NO. 13, FIFTY-FIRST PERIOD) (WOVEN WOOLLEN AND SYNTHETIC AND ARTIFICIAL FABRICS) ORDER, 1965.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Control of Imports Acts, 1934 to 1964, hereby order as follow :--

1. This Order may be cited as the Control of Imports (Quota No. 13, Fifty-first period) (Woven Woollen and Synthetic and Artificial Fabrics) Order, 1965.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The period specified in the second column of the Schedule to this Order is hereby appointed to be the next quota period under the quota order specified in the first column of the said Schedule and the quantity of goods to which such quota order applies specified in the third column of the said Schedule is hereby appointed be to the quota in respect of the said next quota period.

One million and eighty-nine thousand square yards.

Certain woven fabrics of wool or worsted or synthetic or artificial textile.

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Government, this 20th day of July, 1965.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Instrument appoints 1,089,000 square yards as the quantity of Woven Woollen and Synthetic and Artificial Fabrics which may be imported during the period 1st September, 1965 to 28th February, 1966.
