STATE GUARANTEES ACT, 1954 (AMENDMENT OF SCHEDULE) ORDER, 1965.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 9 of the State Guarantees Act, 1954 (No. 9 of 1954), hereby make the following order with respect to which, pursuant to that section, a draft has been laid before each House of the Oireachtas and a resolution approving of the draft has been passed by each such House:

1.--(1) This Order may be cited as the State Guarantees Act, 1954 (Amendment of Schedule) Order, 1965.

(2) The State Guarantees Act, 1954 (Amendment of Schedule) Orders, 1957 to 1964, and this Order may be cited together as the State Guarantees Act, 1954 (Amendment of Schedule) Orders, 1957 to 1965.

2. The Schedule to the State Guarantees Act, 1954 (No. 9 of 1954), is hereby amended by the substitution, for the reference to £6,000,000 which was inserted in the third column in respect of Aer Lingus, Teoranta by section 4 of the State Guarantees (Amendment) Act, 1964 (No. 36 of 1964), of a reference to £6,700,000.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order increases from £6,000,000 to £6,700,000 the aggregate amount of borrowings by Aer Lingus Teoranta which the Minister for Finance may guarantee at any one time under the provisions of the State Guarantees Act, 1954 .
