CONTROL OF EXPORTS (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1976. |

I, JUSTIN KEATING, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 2 of the Control of Exports (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1956 (No. 1 of 1956), which Act is continued in force by the Control of Exports (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1956 (Continuance) Act, 1974 (No. 5 of 1974), hereby order as follows: |

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Control of Exports (Amendment) Order, 1976. |
||
(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 19th day of December, 1976. |
||
2. The Control of Exports Order, 1976 ( S.I. No. 132 of 1976 ), is hereby amended by the substitution for subparagraphs ( f ) and (g) of paragraph 6 of the following: |
||
"or ( f ) are being re-exported after having been temporarily imported under and in accordance with an international convention to which the State is a party". |

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||
The effect of this Order is to extend the Control of Exports Order, 1976, to goods |
||
(1) consigned from outside the State which are imported into the Customs-free Airport at Shannon through another part of the State, |
||
(2) consigned from the Customs-free Airport at Shannon to a destination outside the State through another part of the State. |
