HARBOUR RATES (WATERFORD PORT AND HARBOUR) ORDER, 1977.

HARBOUR RATES (WATERFORD PORT AND HARBOUR) ORDER, 1977.

I, TOM FITZPATRICK, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 104 of the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946), and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), and after due compliance with section 106 of that Act, hereby order as follows:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Harbour Rates (Waterford Port and Harbour) Order, 1977.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 7th day of March, 1977.

2. The Waterford Harbour Act, 1919, shall be construed and have effect as if, for the matter contained in the Schedule to that Act (inserted by the Harbour Rates (Waterford Port and Harbour) Order, 1974 ( S.I. No. 374 of 1974 )), there were substituted the matter contained in the Schedule to this Order.

3. The Schedule to the Harbour Rates (Waterford Harbour) Order, 1954 ( S.I. No. 224 of 1954 ) (inserted by the Harbour Rates (Waterford Port and Harbour) Order, 1972 ( S.I. No. 149 of 1972 )), is hereby amended by--

(a) The substitution in the third column of that Schedule at reference number 1 for "17.5p", "22.5p" and "25p" (inserted by the Harbour Rates (Waterford Port and Harbour) Order, 1975 ( S.I. No. 329 of 1975 )), of "21p", "27p" and "30p", respectively,

and

(b) the substitution in the third column of that Schedule at reference number 5 for "3p" (inserted by the Harbour Rates (Waterford Port and Harbour) Order, 1975), of "3.6p".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.
