I, DESMOND O'MALLEY, Minister for Industry, Commerce and Tourism, in exercise of the powers conferred on my by Section 9 of the Pyramid Selling Act, 1980 (No. 27 of 1980), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Pyramid Selling Act, 1980 (Commencement) Order, 1980.

2. The 1st day of December, 1980 is hereby fixed as the day on which the Pyramid Selling Act, 1980 (No. 27 of 1980), shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The purpose of the Order is to bring the Pyramid Selling Act, 1980 into operation with effect from 1st December, 1980.
