CASUAL TRADING ACT, 1980 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1981.

I, DESMOND O'MALLEY, Minister for Industry, Commerce and Tourism, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 21 of the Casual Trading Act, 1980 (No. 43 of 1980), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Casual Trading Act, 1980 (Commencement) Order, 1981.

2. The 12th day of February, 1981, is hereby fixed as the day on which the Casual Trading Act, 1980 (No. 43 of 1980) (other than sections 3, 6, 11 and 12), shall come into operation.

3. Sections 3 , 6 , 11 and 12 of the Casual Trading Act, 1980 , shall come into operation on the 26th day of March, 1981.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The purpose of the Order is to bring the Casual Trading Act, 1980 into force on 12th February, 1981 but to defer until 26th March, 1981 the operation of Sections 3, 6, 11 and 12.
