DEPARTMENT OF THE ENVIRONMENT. |

The Minister for the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 34 of the Local Government Act, 1941 , hereby orders as follows: |
||||||||
|
1. This Order may be cited as the Constitution of Urban Authorities Order, 1942 (Amendment) Order, 1981. |
||||||||
|
2. Part II of the Schedule to the Constitution of Urban Authorities Order, 1942 (S.R. & O. 1942 No. 272) is hereby amended by the insertion therein of the word “Shannon,” between the words “Portlaoighise,” and “Tuam.”. |
||||||||

This Order fixes the number of members to be elected to Shannon Town Commissioners as nine. |
