COMMUNICATIONS (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) ORDER, 1984.

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Communications and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Communications (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1984.

2. (1) The powers and duties of the Minister for Communications under the Acts specified in the First Schedule to this Order and the Regulations specified in the Second Schedule to this Order are hereby delegated to Ted Nealon, Minister of State at the Department of Communications.

(2) The powers and duties in relation to meteorological services conferred by the Ministers and Secretaries Act, 1924 (No. 16 of 1924), on the Minister for Communications are hereby delegated to Ted Nealon, Minister of State at the Department of Communications.
