COMMITTEES OF AGRICULTURE (NOMINATIONS BY VOLUNTARY RURAL ORGANISATIONS) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1985.

I, AUSTIN DEASY, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Rule 2(2) (inserted by section 26 (1) (a) of the Agriculture (An Chomhairle Oiliúna Talmhaíochta) Act, 1979 (No. 9 of 1979)) of the Second Schedule to the Agriculture Act, 1931 (No. 8 of 1931), hereby order as follows:--

1. This Order may be cited as the Committees of Agriculture (Nominations by Voluntary Rural Organisations) (Amendment) Order, 1985.

2. The Schedule to the Committees of Agriculture (Nominations by Voluntary Rural Organisations) Order, 1980 ( S.I. No. 240 of 1980 ), as amended by the Committees of Agriculture (Nominations by Voluntary Rural Organisations) (Amendment) Order, 1980 ( S.I. No. 267 of 1980 ), is hereby amended in relation to the county of Louth--

( a ) by the deletion in column (2), of "The Irish Small Farmers' Association" and of "one" in column (3) opposite that deletion in column (2) and

( b ) by the substitution in column (3) of "two" for "one" opposite "Irish Farmers' Association".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order amends the Schedule to the Committees of Agriculture (Nominations by Voluntary Rural Organisations) Order, 1980, as amended by the Committees of Agriculture (Nominations by Voluntary Rural Organisations) (Amendment) Order, 1980 by deleting, in the case of County Louth, "The Irish Small Farmers' Association" and increasing to two the number to be nominated by the Irish Farmers' Association.
