HEALTH SERVICES (AMENDMENT) (No. 2) REGULATIONS, 1987. |

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 5 of the Health Act, 1947 (No. 28 of 1947) and by section 72 of the Health Act, 1970 (No. 1 of 1970), hereby makes the following Regulations:-- |

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Health Services (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1987. |
||
2. Article 3 of the Health Services (No. 2) Regulations, 1983 ( S.I. No. 139 of 1983 ) (as amended by article 2 of the Health Services (Amendment) Regulations 1986 ( S.I. No. 109 of 1986 )) is hereby amended by the substitution of "£15,000" for "£14,500" in sub-article (2) (a). |

3. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of June, 1987. |

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||
These Regulations amend the Health Services (No. 2) Regulations, 1983 by raising the income ceiling from £14,500 to £15,000 which limits the extent to which services provided under Section 52 (1), 56 (2), 62 and 63 of the Health Act, 1970 are available to certain persons. |
