SUPERANNUATION (DESIGNATION OF APPROVED ORGANISATIONS) REGULATIONS, 1988.

I, RAY MACSHARRY, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 4 (1) of the Superannuation and Pensions Act, 1963 (No. 24 of 1963), hereby make the following Regulations:

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Superannuation (Designation of Approved Organisations) Regulations, 1988.

(2) The Superannuation (Designation of Approved Organisations) Regulations, 1964 to 1987, and these Regulations may be cited together as the Superannuation (Designation of Approved Organisations) Regulations, 1964 to 1988.

2. The organisations specified in the Schedule to these Regulations are hereby designated as approved organisations for the purposes of section 4 of the Superannuation and Pensions Act, 1963 (No. 24 of 1963).

SCHEDULE

Schools, service in which is pensionable in accordance with the Contributory Pension Scheme for Clerical Staff in National and Secondary Schools.

The organisation to which belong persons who--

( a ) are secretarial assistants to Members of the Oireachtas (other than such Members who are Ministers of the Government or Ministers of State) and

( b ) are eligible for membership of the superannuation scheme for such assistants.
