CUSTOMS-FREE AIRPORT (VARIATION OF LIMITS) ORDER, 1988.

I, JOHN P. WILSON, Minister for Tourism and Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Customs-free Airport Act, 1947 (No. 5 of 1947), the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), and the Public Service (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1987 ( S.I. No. 83 of 1987 ), and with the concurrence of the Minister for Finance, hereby order as follows:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Customs-free Airport (Variation of Limits) Order, 1988.

(2) The Customs-free Airport (Limits) Order, 1947 to 1979, and this Order may be cited together as the Customs-free Airport (Limits) Orders, 1947 to 1988.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of November, 1988.

3. The Customs-free Airport Order, 1947 (S.R. & O., No. 114 of 1947), shall have effect as if, the reference (inserted by Article 4 (b) of the Customs-free Airport (Variation of Limits) Order, 1979 ( S.I. No. 181 of 1979 )) in Article 5 (1) to the 1978 map were a reference to the map annexed hereto.
