WORKER PARTICIPATION (STATE ENTERPRISES) ORDER, 1989. |

I, BERTIE AHERN, Minister for Labour, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 23 (as amended by section 21 of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act, 1988 (No. 13 of 1988)) of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act, 1977 (No. 6 of 1977), and after consultation with the Minister for Finance and the Minister for Tourism and Transport, hereby make the following Order in respect of which, pursuant to section 4 (4) of the said Act of 1977, a draft has been laid before each House of the Oireachtas and a resolution approving the draft has been passed by each such House: |

1. This Order may be cited as the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Order, 1989. |
||
2. With effect from the day this Order is made, the number of directors of Aer Rianta cuideachta phoibli theoranta shall be nine, and the appropriate number of those directors shall be three. |
||

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||
The effect of this Order is to fix the number of directors of Aer Rianta cuideachta phoibli theoranta and the number of worker directors to be appointed following election by the employees, in accordance with the provisions of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Acts, 1977 and 1988. |
