I, DESMOND O'MALLEY, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Companies Act, 1990 (No. 33 of 1990), hereby order as follows:

|
|
1. This Order may be cited as the Companies Act, 1990 (Commencement) Order, 1992.
|
|
|
2. The 21st day of September, 1992, is hereby fixed as the day on which the provisions specified in column (2) of the Table to this Order of the Parts of the Companies Act, 1990 (No. 33 of 1990), specified in column (1) of the said Table shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.
|
|
|
This Order fixes the 21st day of September, 1992 as the day on which certain provisions of Parts I and X of the Companies Act, 1990 shall come into operation.
|
|
|
The following table indicates the provisions of the Act which were brought into force by virtue of previous Commencement Orders under the Act, as well as the provisions which are the subject of the present Order.
