HARBOUR RATES (DROGHEDA HARBOUR) ORDER, 1994.

I, DAVID ANDREWS, Minister for the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 104 of the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946), and the Communications (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1987 ( S.I. No. 91 of 1987 ), and after due compliance with section 106 of the said Harbours Act, 1946 , hereby order as follows:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Harbour Rates (Drogheda Harbour) Order, 1994.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of February, 1994.

2. The Harbour Rates (Drogheda Harbour) Order, 1947 ( S.R. & O. No. 228 of 1947 ), shall have effect as if--

( a ) the following were substituted for the First Schedule (inserted by the Harbour Rates (Drogheda Harbour) Order, 1988 ( S.I. No. 239 of 1988 )):

No. 1 (b) above on first entry to the Harbour and in addition on every ton of the net register tonnage or half the gross tonnage whichever is the greater, with a minimum of 120 rateable tons for each day (Sundays excepted) during the continuance of the salvage operations or in the breaking up or removal of wrecks, a sum of ... ... ...
