CEMENT (REPEAL OF ENACTMENTS) ACT, 2000 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 2000.

I, MARY HARNEY, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2(2) of the Cement (Repeal of Enactments) Act, 2000 (No. 31 of 2000) , hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Cement (Repeal of Enactments) Act, 2000 (Commencement) Order, 2000.

2. The 28th day of November, 2000, is hereby appointed as the day on which the Cement (Repeal of Enactments) Act, 2000 (No. 31 of 2000) , shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation.)

This Order appoints the 28th day of November, 2000 as the day on which the Cement (Repeal of Enactments) Act, 2000 comes into operation. The purpose of this Act is to repeal the Cement Acts, 1933-1962.
