Finance Act 2003 (Section 104) (Commencement) Order 2003.

I, Charlie McCreevy, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 104 of the Finance Act 2003 ( No.3 of 2003 ), hereby order as follows:

1.   This order may be cited as the Finance Act 2003 (Section 104) (Commencement) Order 2003.

2.   The 1^st day of May 2003 is appointed as the day on which section 104 of the Finance Act 2003 ( No.3 of 2003 ) comes into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

(This note is not part of the instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation.)

This order appoints the 1^st day of May 2003 as the date for coming into operation of section 104 of the Finance Act 2003 .

As a consequence:

The Vehicle Registration Tax repayment scheme for demonstration models is repealed.
