The Commission for Communications Regulation, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by subsection 6 (inserted by section 11(c) of the section 3 of the Wireless Telegraphy Act, 1926 (No. 45 of 1926), transferred to the Commission for Communications Regulation by section 9(1) of the Communications Regulation Act 2002 (No. 20 of 2002) hereby makes the following Order: 1. This Order may be cited as the Wireless Telegraphy Act, 1926 (Section 3) (Exemption of Short Range Devices) (Amendment) Order, 2006. 2. The Interpretation Act, 2005 (No. 23 of 2005), applies to this Order. 3. In this Order - |

-�Principal Order-� means the Wireless Telegraphy Act, 1926 (Section 3) (Exemption of Short Range Devices) Order, 2002, ( S.I. No.405 of 2002 ); |

-�CEPT-� means the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations; 4. In the Principal Order the definition of -�Document 02/71-� is replaced by the following definition: |

-�Document No. 02/71-� means the document entitled -�Permitted Short Range Devices in Ireland-� published on the 30th day of July 2002 and any amendment, revision or replacement thereof. 5. The schedule to the Principal Order is deleted. 6. Paragraph 4 of the Principal Order is amended by deleting the words -�described in paragraph 1 and 2 of the Schedule to this Order-� |

and substituting the following: |
