Building Societies (Amendment) Act 2006 (Commencement) Order 2006

The Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 2 of the Building Societies (Amendment) Act 2006 (No. 24 of 2006), hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Building Societies (Amendment) Act 2006 (Commencement) Order 2006.

2. The 1^st day of August 2006 is appointed as the day on which the Building Societies (Amendment) Act 2006 (No. 24 of 2006) shall come into operation.

	GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government this 26^th day of July 2006.
