PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT ACT 2000(CERTIFICATION OF FAIRGROUND EQUIPMENT) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2007

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

The Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 262 of the section 239 of the section 14 of the Planning and Development (Amendment) Act 2002 (No. 32 of 2002) hereby makes the following Regulations-

1. (a) These Regulations may be cited as the Planning and Development Act 2000 (Certification of Fairground Equipment) (Amendment) Regulations 2007

(b) These Regulations and the Planning and Development Act 2000 (Certification of Fairground Equipment) Regulations 2003 shall be construed as one and may be collectively cited as the Planning and Development Act 2000 (Certification of Fairground Equipment) Regulations 2003 to 2007.

2. The Funfair Guidance Document published in October 2003 by the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government under article 4 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (Certification of Fairground Equipment) Regulations 2003 is hereby amended by the substitution of the following persons for those listed in Appendix 1 of that Document:

These Regulations provide for the appointment of persons authorised for the purpose of determining applications for certificates of safety in respect of fairground equipment in accordance with sections 262 and 239 the Planning and Development Act 2000 .
