The Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 3 and 31(1) of the Local Government Act 1991 (No. 11 of 1991) hereby orders as follows: |
||
|
1. This Order may be cited as the Wexford Borough Boundary Alteration Order 2007. |
||
|
2. This Order shall come into operation on 1 January 2008. |
||
|
3. The areas shown as �relevant areas� on the map attached to this Order titled �Wexford Town� and date stamped 12 December 2007 shall be included in and form part of Wexford Borough and the boundary of Wexford Borough shall accordingly stand altered in accordance with that map. |

This Order extends the boundary of Wexford Borough from 1 January 2008. It should be read together with a separate Order, the Wexford Borough Boundary Alteration (Supplementary) Order 2007 ( S.I. No. 819 of 2007 ) which contains supplementary provisions related to the boundary extension. |
