TRANSPORT (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) (ROAD TRAFFIC) ORDER 2008 |

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in |

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 11th July, 2008. |
||
|
The Government, on the request of the Minister for Transport and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2(1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows: |
||
|
1. This Order may be cited as the Transport (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (Road Traffic) Order 2008. |
||
|
2. The powers and duties of the Minister for Transport conferred on him by or under- |
||
|
(a) the Road Traffic Acts 1961 to 2007 (other than functions of the Minister for Transport conferred on the Road Safety Authority under the Road Safety Authority Act 2006 (Conferral of Functions) Order 2006 ( S.I. No. 477 of 2006 )), and |
||
|
(b) the Local Authorities (Traffic Wardens) Act 1975 (No. 14 of 1975), |
||
|
are delegated to Noel Ahern, Minister of State at the Department of Transport. |
||
|
