I, ALAN KELLY, Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 12 (1) of the Water Services (No. 2) Act 2013 (No. 50 of 2013), hereby make the following order: |
||
1. This Order may be cited as the Water Services (No. 2) Act 2013 (Property Vesting Day) (No. 7) Order 2015. |
||
2. In this Order- |
||
"the Act" is the " Water Services (No. 2) Act 2013 (No. 50 of 2013)". |
||
3. The 30th of October 2015 shall be a "property vesting day" for the purposes of section 12 of the Act. |
||
4. On the property vesting day referred to in article 3, any moneys held by a water services authority, which were collected pursuant to the Local Government (Planning and Development) Act 1963 (No. 28 of 1963) and which relates to a function transferred to Irish Water in accordance with Section 7 of the Act, shall stand vested in Irish Water. |

This statutory Instrument gives effect to the decision of the Minister of the Environment, Community and Local Government to transfer the property specified in the Order from each water services authority to Irish Water in accordance with section 12 of the Water Services (No. 2) Act 2013 . |
