I, ALAN KELLY, Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 (14) of the Water Services Act 2014 (No. 44 of 2014), hereby make the following order: |
||
1. This Order may be cited as the Water Services Act 2014 (Irish Water Customer Registration) Order 2015. |
||
2. In this Order- |
||
“the Act” is the Water Services Act 2014 (No. 44 of 2014); |
||
“occupier” has the meaning assigned by the Water Services (No. 2) Act 2013 (No. 50 of 2013); |
||
3. The 2nd of February 2015 is specified as the day by which the occupier of a dwelling, provided with water services by Irish Water on 31 December 2014, shall be required to register with Irish Water for the purposes of section 3(14) of the Act. |

This Statutory Instrument gives effect to the decision of the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government to specify the date by which the occupier of a dwelling, provided with water services by Irish Water on 31 December 2014, shall be required to register with Irish Water for the purposes of section 3 (14) of the Act. |
