Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 21st August, 2015.

The Minister for Social Protection, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 1 (3) of the Civil Registration (Amendment) Act 2014 (No. 34 of 2014), hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Civil Registration (Amendment) Act 2014 (Commencement) Order 2015.

2. The 18th day of August 2015 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Civil Registration (Amendment) Act 2014 (No. 34 of 2014) shall come into operation:

(a) Part 1;

(b) Sections 3, 4, 10 and 14;

(c) Section 15 (other than paragraph (a) of that section);

(d) Sections 16, 17, 18 and 20;

(e) Section 21 (other than paragraph (a) of that section);

(f) Sections 23, 24 and 25;

(g) Section 29 (other than paragraphs (a) and (c) of that section);

(h) Part 3.
