Social Housing Assessments (Summary) Regulations S.I. No. 287/2016

I, SIMON COVENEY, Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 3 and 21 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009 (No. 22 of 2009), as adapted by the Environment, Heritage and Local Government (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2011 ( S.I. No. 193 of 2011 ), hereby make the following regulations:

Citation

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Social Housing Assessments (Summary) Regulations 2016.

Interpretation

2. In these Regulations, “Act of 2009” means the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009 (No. 22 of 2009).

Summary of social housing assessments

3. The form set out in the Schedule is prescribed for the purposes of the preparation by a housing authority of a summary of social housing assessments carried out in its administrative area in accordance with section 21 of the Act of 2009.

SCHEDULE

Summary of social housing assessments

1. 1	Total number of households subjected to a fully completed assessment for the purposes of determining their qualification for social housing support.
1. 2	Households subjected to fully completed assessment and are deemed qualified for social housing support.
1. 3	Households where an assessment to determine their qualification for social housing has been completed and are deemed not to qualify for social housing support.
1. 4	Households where an assessment to determine their qualification for social housing support has not yet been completed and no decision as to their qualification has been made.
1. 5	Qualified households that will only be considered for social housing supports other than those referred to in paragraphs (a), (c) and (d) of section 19(2) of the Act of 2009.
1. 6	Households suspended from the list of qualified households for refusing 2 offers of accommodation within a 12 month period.
